Medionews is an editorial product. This policy sets out the standards our desk applies to the briefings we rank and the material members and contributors send us.
Editorial standards
Our daily ranking is human editorial judgement, not an engagement algorithm. We rank briefings on whether they genuinely moved capital or context, we credit and link the work we select, and we aim to represent contested topics fairly — including, where relevant, the strongest version of opposing views.
Prohibited content
- Content that is unlawful, defamatory, or that harasses or threatens others.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights.
- Market manipulation, deliberately false financial claims, or content designed to deceive investors.
- Personal data shared without a lawful basis, and confidential material obtained unlawfully.
- Malware, spam, or attempts to circumvent the Service’s access controls.
Not financial advice
Briefings are journalism and analysis, not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and nothing on the Service is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Members should do their own research and seek professional advice where appropriate.
AI disclosure
Editorial selection and ranking are performed by people. Where we use automated tools to assist with tasks such as transcription, search, or summarisation, those tools support the desk’s judgement and do not replace it. If we ever publish materially AI-generated content, we will label it clearly.
Copyright clearance
We only surface third-party material where we have the right to do so or where doing so is permitted by law, and we credit rights holders. If you believe content infringes your rights, see our DMCA page for how to file a takedown notice. Contributors must hold or have cleared the rights to anything they submit.
